My Mother loved to garden and she loved flowers. I wish that she were still with us because I would love to bring her a big bouquet of these beautiful flowers and tell her that I love her. If your lucky enough to still have your mom and she loves flowers then we have lots of them for you to send her along with a card that says how much she means to you.

The busy spring season is in full force this week at the flower shop. We have several parties and a wedding going on. That means that are shelves ate spilling over with lots of beautiful flowers. Don’t worry though, we did buy plenty for you as well. Oh and FYI, mothers day is a little over a week away.

Administrative Proffesionals day is next week!

We are excited that the first Peonies of the season have arrived. They are one of my favorites and as I get requests for them all year long, I know that I’m not alone on that. We also have Hydrangea in a mix of spring colors, Clematis, vibrant Gerbera Daisies, green Viburnum, and Lilac. If you love tulips don’t wait because these are the last couple of weeks of their season.

Next Wednesday (April 25th to be exact) is Administrative Professional’s Day. We all have that person (or persons) that we depend on to keep business running smoothly, don’t forget to say “thank you”.

Flowers are beautiful all by themselves, growing in a field, long before they get to my flower shop. It’s also true that standing on a hill overlooking that field of flowers would probably make you smile inside & out. When I make a beautiful flower arrangement, or when you give that arrangement to someone its not because they “need ” a vase of flowers, it is because they need a Smile, or a hug, or a pat on the back. Giving flowers isn’t about giving flowers. It’s about telling someone that they are loved, that you care about them. It’s about life’s celebrations, and easing life’s disappointments. For my part, I think it’s pretty cool that I can make an arrangement of flowers that will make someone smile, & in this crazy, hectic world it’s great that there is something as simple as a flower that can help us say so much.

With both Easter & Passover this week we have a great selection of beautiful spring flowers on hand to help you celebrate. Of course there are all the classics like Tulips, Hyacinth, Lilac, Anemones, & Freesia just to name a few. For something a bit more unusual check out the really gorgeous Fritillaria Persica in this arrangement. They are a deep rich plum/purple shade. Hopping towards Easter

Even with a few cold nights, spring appears to be here with bells on. And right around the corner is Easter!
